Teacher Week: Classroom Digs (a sneak peek!)

I just went into my classroom for the first time this week. I spent quite a few hours there yesterday doing a little painting and a whole lot of staring at the space.  I had planned on doing some rearranging this year but I still needed to figure out the specifics.  I left yesterday with a plan in my head. Then I headed straight to Michael's to pick up the necessary supplies. I returned to my classroom this morning ready to roll.  A few hours later & it's beginning to come together.  I still have A LOT to do, but I'm feeling good about it so far. Take a peek...

    1. Thank you! I hot glued the clothes pins to the scrapbook paper then used scotch brand removable poster tape to attach the paper to the chalkboard. I got the poster tape in the tape section at CVS.

  7. Hi!! I LOVE the colorful display for student work! What size paper is that? Did you get it at Michael's? I think I want to try this! I did something similar last year, but it wasn't as pretty. :)

    1. Thank you! I did get the paper from Michaels. It was a 12x12 pack with assorted colors. This pack came with 3 of each color. I hot glued the clothespins right to the paper then used double sided tape to stick it to the wall. It stayed up all year and was so easy for changing out student work! I'd definitely recommend it!

  13. How were you able to have the papers sit so straight and evenly? I tried doing this in my classroom using a push pin to hang up each paper but they just began swaying. Yours look so perfectly placed!! Help!!
